Heidi is a solidly built dark black/tan with excellent structure and even more promissing working potential. Our pick female from our H litter, she is a daughter of our own B/HOT Caliber vom Wildhaus, aka "Raven", and Tobi vd Wölfen. Raven is a remarkable dog in all phases and a tremendous powerhouse in protection, all brought together in a package of impeccable nerve, temperament and balance who is as wonderful a companion and family dog as she is a working dog. Exactly what the GSD is supposed to be. Likewise, Tobi, is also a high drive dog with excellent tracking and animated, focused obedience, who always displays power and seriousness in protection, combined with exceptional "off the field" temperament. A wonderful house companion, he is trustworthy and approachable in social settings, excellent with children, and a truly people oriented, biddable dog who works with his handler, always showing a desire to please and willingness to give his all. In short, Tobi very much mirrors the qualities we see and appreciate so greatly in Raven.
Together, Raven and Tobi, bring outstanding genetics. This is seen not only in their own quality, but also in the quality of their close relatives, and throughout their pedigrees which are full of not only outstanding dogs, but outstanding dogs who were also strong, consistent producers of the same. Furthermore, this is a blending of bloodlines that has been proven successful time and time again. Very similar bloodline crosses have generated multiple LGA, BSP and WUSV competitors and superb breeding stock for European kennels, and have also consistently produced the strong and balanced working GSD temperament we value and strive to achieve ourselves.
Raven's sire, 2000 BSP Champion and WUSV competitor Ernst Weinbergblick, is known throughout the world for producing strong, hard, exceptional working dogs both in sport competition and in police and military service. Raven's dam, our own Ira Argatos, consistently produced for us litter after litter of dogs with extraordinary working ability, sound nerve, good health and correct, balanced temperament. Tobi's sire, 3 time BSP competitor Falk von den Wölfen, has been one of the most highly esteemed males in Europe in recent years both for his own achievements and for the quality of his offspring, having produced multiple regional, national and international competitors. Falk's sire is the renowned BSP competitor and producer Ahron Granit Rose, and his dam, Fina Hainpark, was a remarkable bitch who proved herself both on the trial field as an LGA competitor and in the whelping box as the dam of the highly successful C, F and J litters vd Wölfen and A litter vd Lemper Heide, which included of course 3 time BSP participant Andy vd Lemper Heide. Tobi's dam, Luna Westfalensproß, was also an LGA competitor and proven producer of exceptional working dogs. The same breeding of Luna to Falk that produced Tobi and the T litter vd Wölfen was done 3 times, yielding also the E and F litters vom Wolfsblick and giving us 2007 BSP Champion, Falko vom Wolfsblick.
We have great hopes that Heidi will live up to our high expectations as companion and working dog, and one day also become another exceptional producer for our breeding program. So far, it's looking good!
