Eris is out of our E Litter breeding between Jabina Fjolle and our own Ira Argatos. This E litter was a repeat breeding of our highly successful D litter. All dogs from both the D and E litters are in working homes where they are excelling at anything and everything that their handlers ask them to do. This combination has produced multiple regional and national level SchH/IPO competitors, a Regional Universal Siegerin, a certified working Search and Rescue dog, and a huge stack of titles in SchH/IPO and other dogsport venues across the country. In addition to exceptional working temperament, they also have excellent health with all dogs from both litters being x-rayed clear in hips/elbows (OFA, A stamp or prelims).

The consistent high quality of the dogs from our D and E litters is of course not happenstance, but the product of exceptional genetics. Their sire, Jabina Fjolle, participated in the 2003 FCI Weltmeisterschaft and the 2003 and 2004 Danish Mesterskab before being imported to the US. His brother, Jabina Fisther, twice placed in the top 5 at the Danish Meisterschaft and 18th at the 2002 WUSV. Fjolle is a son of world renowned BSP Participant Pike vd Schafbacmühle, well known for his ability to produce hard, high drive, serious working dogs. Fjolle's dam, Jabina Frigga, has left her stamp not only on the trial field, having competed in the Danish Mesterskab and 1998 WUSV, but even more importantly she has left her mark on GSD bloodlines forever through her progeny, especially her daughters, Jabina Nova and Jabina Dighte, both top level competitors in their own right, and highest scoring females at the 2006 and 2007 WUSVs. Eris' dam, Ira, is the foundation bitch of Wildhaus Kennels. Litter after litter Ira proved her ability to produce exceptional working dogs with a variety of different studs. Uniformly, her offspring exhibit exceptional drive, power and intensity, sound nerve and temperament, full and hard grips, excellent natural tracking talent, and a tireless love of the work. Eris is no exception.

A gorgeous middle sized, sable female, Eris is a firecracker on the field and she shows everything one could want in terms of working ability; drive, focus, confidence, grips, and exceptional speed, agility and commitment in all her work. Off the field she exhibits the balanced temperament that is correct for a working GSD. She is a full time house dog and family companion, living in the home with other dogs and a young child and always accepting of welcome visitors, human or canine. This balanced temperament is further evidenced by her achievement of the AKC Canine Good Citizen award and ATTS Temperament Test certificate.

We co-own Eris with our good friend Dianna H., a fellow schutzhund club member who has owned and titled several Wildhaus dogs in SchH/IPO, SDA, Agility and other performance events. Dianna is a very talented trainer and handler with a special knack for working with young dogs. She and Eris have made exceptional progress in their training and Eris obtained her SchH1 and SchH2 by the tender age of 25 months old. In May 2009 Eris and Dianna earned their SchH3 taking High Protection and High SchH3 and also participated in their first SDA trial ever, earning their FO and P1 titles. They have since added more SchH3s and IPO3s as well as an AWD1, AKC Rally and multiple AKC Agility titles to their ever growing list of accomplishments and became one of only a handful of GSDs in history to achieve both multiple SchH3/IPO3 titles and a MACH (Master Agility Championship). Eris and Dianna have also competed in four regional schutzhund championships. All of Eris' titles have been earned on strange fields and helpers.

In the whelping box, Eris has carried on the legacy by producing multiple litters of outstanding, balanced working dogs who are themselves excelling in a variety of endeavors including SchH/IPO, SAR, agility, obedience, tracking, nosework and also serving as delightful family companions. We have retained one of her daughters, Nova, for future breeding and have high hopes of Nova following in her mother's pawprints.
